I have to ask. Why are you posting so many screen shots? I mean its great that you have something that you really enjoy and Id never want to stop someone from expressing and showing off their interests, but it's eating up the whole front page and thats not really fair for people who put a lot of effort into their work only to have it pushed aside for a screen cap. If you dont mind maybe upload them more slowly?
No need to get all aggressive . I do run vista and frankly that is not an excuse for pushing people off the front page with a two second screen shot when people spend hours on a piece. You very much CAN control it by uploading your pictures at a slower pace. Sheezy isn't some contest to see who can upload the most things in any given amount of time. Let everyone have there fifteen minutes on the front page and wait until your screen shot is off the first page before posting another.
I did NOT complain about what you are, my issue was with the volume at which you do it. To be perfectly honest do you think its fair that the only amount of time some people get to have their art seen is pushed aside by a screen shot?
First off I did NOT treat you like you did it all the time. My initial post was only to ask you why you were posting so many screen shots and I very nicely asked if you didn't mind to please slow down. I did not blame or chastise you for doing not posting up your own work and simply asked nicely if you would slow down to be fair to others on this site as it is a community.
You are the one who has been very rude to me. Instead of answering you instantly threw your troubles at me and yelled, when all I was trying to say is that uploading things, that in all technicality isn't your work, all at once was not fair to people who really worked hard at their art. So DO NOT go around saying that I have no patience and don't care when I was trying to look out for people as whole when you took my first post way out of context and start putting words in my mouth. My initial post was before your journal entry and I felt like I needed to say something after you yelled at me when I was nothing but polite.
This is an art site not photobucket, everyone is embarrassed by there work at some point. Hell, I am embarrassed by my drawings so I take the time to practice and if you cant post it online then who cares? It's still your art at that point and is something for you enjoy doing.
And still, you ignore my point in my journal post.
And how do you know what is and isn't mine? Just because I post desktops of wallpapers I've made?
Maybe I don't want them stolen and claimed for anothers' work. There's more to art than just a pencil/pen and paper. And graphics and desktops are mine.
If I have a desktop that suits my mood or what I'm currently watching or into, I'm going to post it. Or when I change it I want it to be known. And sometimes I do postings on my own personal schedule.
I just had more than usual this time. Since I had no pictures and stuff to post in-between. A one-time only instance. When my norm is usually 2 desktops per month at most. Big deal. Now please drop it.
No, I got your point in your journal. You dont seem to be getting mine. I right now am more upset that you kept yelling at me instead of acknowledging my initial request for what it was, a simple ok Im not going to upload so many at once would have been fine thank you or an I addressed this issue in my journal sorry about the trouble. Instead you yelled at me which I found very offensive as I was very polite about asking.
Why would I say that when I already finished? Again, it was a one-time thing. I do get it, but I had already done it. And you didn't have to point out such a thing to me. You all act like all I ever post is desktops, and that's just not true.
So what if it was flooded? It was an accident. I apologized for it and explained why. And being a one time only occurrence, with so many people here, it could easily be overwritten so to speak. It is no big deal.
As we speak, I have more pics in planning to post. I just need to get them off my camera and upload them.
Wow, I wish I would have seen these before. :/
I agree with Treblesbass. I run Windows Vista, and have a scanner, and my pictures turn out fine. Do you ink them? Or do you just draw them with pencil? If you just do pencil, I would suggest running over them with Precise V5 pens, Ultra Fine. :3
Also, if you're SO worried about art theft, put a copy right mark on them. It's fairly simple, really.
If you have a deviantart just post them there first, save that image with the copyright mark and then post it here.
Go ahead and agree. But you obviously ignore MY logic and journals completely. Yes, I can draw albeit badly, BUT Vista and my scanner/printer/copier DO NOT MIX. I should know since I tried to print with it once and it just kept testing the ink and testing the ink until I used up HALF the pages in the printer and nearly all the ink. And it won't SCAN at all. I haven't used it since.
And if you even BOTHERED to look more closely at my gallery, you would clearly see that graphics and photography are my style of art. And watermark or not, that won't stop people from posting them elsewhere without credit. Plus, to me, watermarks ruin a piece. There is more to art than a pencil and paper. Something people clearly seem to forget.
YuGiOh! was one of my first favourites :] Still is, I have all the manga, lmao. Er, except for the new stuff. I stopped paying attention when they got rid of Yugi and Joey etc. </3
And I don't see how anyone can't NOT like Kirby :3
Blah, as for Naruto, the fanbase is just way too huge and young and annoying.

Inner Animal Spirit: Lion
The spirit of the lion lives inside of you. The lion is a strong and majestic animal, but also kind-hearted and helpful. But sometimes the lion also tries to be unreachable and arrogant. Just like the lion you also are having a strong will and a kind heart. But don't always try to show off as a hero. The quiet heroes are the beloved ones.

Well, thank you, SA for deleting ALL my photography and desktop/wallpaper preview submissions. You've got a lot of nerve calling my efforts art theft non-artistic.
I guess this means now you'll be deleting EVERYONE'S exact same things, if they're not up to YOUR merit, YOUR opinionated outlook. I only did what a previous staff member told me with the copyright text as well as explained how I did my work, as I ALWAYS do. Well, the heck with it. You just lost one more user.
People were right: You all are NOT the SA we remember and loved.
To those who DID appreciate my stuff regardless, I thank you and will miss you all. You know how to find me elsewhere.
